Net Zero Targets Over Time
The nations chart covers all members of the UNFCCC; the companies chart covers the world's largest 2,000 publicly listed companies. The 2025 drop for nations reflects the US rescinding its federal net zero target and excludes continued commitments from US states, which would raise coverage to at least 84%.
